TALES OF AN INTROVERTED NOBODY WHO WANTED TO BE SOMEBODY

i have been working on this site now for about three weeks, and one thing that has entered my mind is the presence of social media. I must say that social media is a mental illness creator in some cases, in my opinion. Ever since I have attempted what I would call a pitiful attempt at having a social media account, I felt like complete shit. Everybody has so many friends from their schools, sports, etc. They have all these likes and comments, so when they decide to have their birthday on a jetski down the shore, they have to make sure everybody knows. is this what everything is like now? The pandemic makes it bad enough, but the thought of people having fun out there makes me feel awful at times. I decided to detox myself from the grasp of social media. I bought a portable cd player, cds, headphones and plenty of movies and such. I will use the internet for basic things like looking up basic information, recipes, etc. I also made the decision to use my phone minimally except for exercise videos and messaging and facetiming my girl. The world is a cold place, that seems to be getting colder and colder, endlessly, timelessly and infinitely.
